Singer, songwriter and prayer leader Laura Berman offers a vocal and songwriting style reminiscent of the likes of Carole King, infused with a gospel vibration and with soul, vulnerability and a depth of heart allowing her listeners to join her on an inspired and healing musical journey.

Laura has five studio albums to date and has toured nationwide, sharing her heart and song at services, conferences and retreats, performing in secular venues, Centers for Spiritual Living, Unity Churches and in the Jewish Renewal and Reconstructionist communities. Her credits include opening for NYC-based pop-rock band, October Project, singing backup with Enya on the David Letterman Show, performing alongside authors Neale Donald Walsch, Marianne Williamson, and with Oprah Winfrey’s confidant Rev. Michael Beckwith from the Agape Spiritual Center in Los Angeles. Additionally, she has a featured song in the children's film and Soundtrack, Clifford's Really Big Movie.

Laura returned to her Jewish heart and spirituality at Havurah Shir Hadash synagogue in Ashland, Oregon, sharing her original songs on Shabbat and other special events, and had the honor of singing with the music team for two Reb Zalman, of Blessed memory, Shabbatot there. She inspires listeners in the Jewish community with her unique and modern interpretation of sacred prayers and incorporating her original song compositions into the service as a fresh way of presenting Torah.

Laura is also passionate about building bridges between Judaism and Christianity through sacred music, believing that we create peace in the world through understanding ourselves and others. Additionally, she participates in healing workshops alongside our incarcerated brothers and sisters through The Freedom to Choose organization and stands firmly for restorative justice measures and education.  Originally from NYC, she now makes Evergreen, Colorado her home.
